Celebration of the life of Barbara Shoomski
As previously announced at church, it is with heavy hearts that we write to say that The Rev. Barbara Shoomski has died. Barbara served as the Outreach Minister at All Saints, and was a much-loved part of our Church community and the West Broadway neighbourhood.
Please keep her daughters Kirsten and Kyrene and all her family and friends in your hearts and prayers.
The funeral for Barbara will be on Saturday, April 11, at 11 am, at All Saints. All are welcome, and it will be livestreamed.
Let us commend our sister Barbara to the mercy of God, our Maker and Redeemer. Barbara, our companion in faith and sister in Christ, we entrust you to God.
Go forth from this world in the love of the Father, who created you; In the mercy of Jesus Christ, who died for you; In the power of the Holy Spirit, who strengthens you.
At one with all the faithful, living and departed, may you rest in peace and rise in glory, where grief and misery are banished and light and joy evermore abide. Amen.
