Art Show Call for Submissions

Call for Art and Artists for the Centennial Art Show

All Saints Anglican Church is celebrating 100 years in our current building, with many special events planned to mark the anniversary. Along with the partner Anglican community, st. benedict’s table (who also celebrate presence in this unique location) the communities at the two parishes would like to celebrate the gifts of the communities’ creators, makers and artists of the past and present. Art and creative expression is a special kind of worship, giving us means to express theology, wondering and relationship beyond words.

As such, the Centennial Committee proposes a 10-day exhibition of art. With an opening “Wine & Cheese” event on Saturday May 23rd, 2026 at 7:00pm, the exhibition will be a retrospective exhibition, with accessible hours focused on Sunday church services and Doors Open Winnipeg (ie: the two weekends of the exhibition). This exhibition will showcase the creative talents and ideas of members from both of the two faith communities. We will exhibit one to four different pieces per artist. There is no fee and this is not a contest. Art can be dropped off at the church May 1st through May 8th during our normal business hours, 8:30am-4:30pm. All forms of completed visual art can be submitted. The direction and focus of the Art Show will change if there are not enough participating artists.

• Artist Statement (roughly 150 words)
