Our theme this edition is:
Love and Marriage
The theme comes from the month of June, which is both Pride Month and the start of “wedding season”, including our Celebration of 100 Years of Weddings on June 20th.
Didn’t get married at All Saints, but still want to show off your wedding? Send in your wedding photos or stories!
Some other prompts for this month:
Your favourite beat the heat recipe.
Stories of Summer past: summer vacations, beach days, mosquitos and dragonflies.
A favourite campfire signalong song.
Your favourite hymn, poem, or story (public domain or self-written!)
Pictures from All Saints events, changing of the seasons, or anything else that’s meaningful to you.
A scathing (or glowing!) response to an article in a previous edition of Saints Alive.
A drawing, painting, or other visual artwork that you’re proud of, or that speaks to you.
A review of a campground, park, beach, or other summer destination.
A puzzle, riddle, or game.
A movie, book, album, or podcast review or recommendation (it doesn’t have to be religious!)
Saints Alive is written for the people of All Saints, by the people of All Saints, so we need YOU to submit your very best (or at least pretty good) content for this edition.
Send it to office@allsaintswinnipeg.ca to be included in our quarterly magazine, by the parish, for the parish! We accept anything that we can print – pictures, stories, poems, puzzles, quips, quotes, scholarly articles, and, of course, jokes.
