A Centennial Celebration of Weddings

A Centennial Celebration of Weddings: Saturday, June 20, from 1-4 pm.

In honour of the centennial of our church building, and 100 years of weddings, we invite you to a celebration of Holy Matrimony.

Pre-registration is not required, and all are welcome to attend.

Schedule:

1 to 4 pm: Open house

Displays on the history of weddings at All Saints, including photos and wedding dresses.

2 pm: Mass Renewal of Vows

A service, based on the wedding rite, which will include music and readings, and an opportunity for the married couples in attendance to exchange a renewal of wedding vows.

2:30 pm (approx): Reception

Following the renewal of vows we will have a reception with some cold drinks and treats.

2:30 pm to 4 pm: Photos

A photographer will be available to take group or couple photos on the chancel steps.

We particularly invite anyone who was married at All Saints to participate, so spread the word!

Donations:

There is still time to bring in your memorabilia of weddings at All Saints, including photos and wedding outfits. You can send digital photos to the office, or bring printed photos, which can be scanned for you. In particular, we would like photos from weddings in the 1990s!

Volunteers:

There is a sign-up sheet at the back of the church. If you are able to give some of your time to this incredible event, please sign up.

If you are interested in donating or volunteering, please contact Joy (in the office), Lorraine, or Arlene.

Photos:

Following the renewal of vows there will be an opportunity to have photos taken on the chancel steps, by our Photography Minister, Kevin Grummett.

Photos will be $5 each.

All Saints parishioners have the opportunity to skip the line for photos by signing up ahead of time. The sign up sheet is at the back of the church, or you can contact the office.
